Onew sustains an ankle injury

Leader Onew has suffered an ankle injury which made him unable to perform in Paris.
SHINee was scheduled to perform at KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank in Paris', but was unable to due to his ankle injury.



At a press conference that was healed before their performance Jonghyun broke the news about his injury to international and local media outlets that where present. You can read what he said below,

"Onew will not be able to stand on stage due to his ankle injury," he said. "We are really upset that he will not be able to be with us on stage, but we will make sure all five of us perform together for our nest stage in Europe."

"This is our second time in Paris after last year," he also said, "Watching last year's performance, I realized that a passion for performance exists in each country."

He also said, "I think this will be a good opportunity for cultural exchange. We promise to put on a good show for you."

The 10,000 seats available for 'Music Bank' where sold out immediately. 'Music Bank in Paris' will air on February 18th, 11:05P.M. in two 80 minute segments.
