Sherlock makes YouTube's list of the most watched K-pop videos for the first half of 2012

On the 16th of July YouTube announced the list of the global top 10 most watched K-pop videos for the first half of 2012. SHINee's song Sherlock ranked 8th on the chart with over 9 million views and a hundred thousand likes. 

The statistics show the many locations that the MV has been viewed in. Places like North America, Austrailia, Asia, and some parts of the Middle East and South America. The video is also most popular among woman from the ages of 13 to 34.

A YouTube official stated that, "K-pop has become a genre of music that is listened to globally. We hope that through YouTube, we will be able to spread the work of K-pop even more."
