BoA to make comeback on SBS Inkigayo with Taemin
Solo artist BoA will be making her stage comeback July 29th on Inkigayo with her new single, 'Only One'. But she wont be making her stage comeback alone. During her performance of her new single on Inkigayo, she will be dancing with Taemin.
BoA has already performed her new single, 'Only One' with TVXQ's U-Know Yunho in BoA4354, her special comeback show. Which, is scheduled to air on July 28th on SBS.
She will be showcasing 'The Shadow' along with 'Only One' on Inkigayo. The lyrics of the song, 'The Shadow', where written by BoA herself. The song expresses her gratitude to her fans to have loved and stuck with her through the years, like a shadow.

Vogue Girl's August Interview Cut with Minho + Scans
VG: Did you practice high jump a lot? When we see you win on “Let’s Go Dream Team” do you think it’s really as good as a player/athlete’s standard?
Minho: I started practicing regularly for 1.5 months before filming. I thought the 1st until 2nd second try was easy, but this one is so different from what I did on Dream Team. High jump players do backward jumps, so this is really hard. High jump can be said to be a very hard sport among trackfield events, and one of the events that players avoid.
VG: Kang Taejun has a lady-killer character, does the character match the lead’s [Minho's] character?
Minho: First, I’ll say that it’s about 50%, I have a lot of similar characteristics with him, but my relations with my family and people are different. I watched the Japanese drama and tried to find the original (T/N: the manga, I guess?), I still can’t say that his genuineness, manliness, look, and naturally cool character are totally similar with me. After all, I just want to express and follow that character well.
VG: What kind of look will you show that makes you different from Oguri Shun who had the same role in the Japanese drama?
Minho: Because the person who acts the role is different, so the way I’ll show it will obviously be different. You can distinguish my different feels of the character from Oguri Shun. This talk will only be proven as you see the broadcast on 15th of August! Haha.
VG: SHINee’s Minho, Actor Minho, and Minho’s photoshoots filming like today, which one is the most difficult role?
Minho: It’s acting. I can just show myself when I sing and dance, but in acting, it’s not my real self that I show but what I must show is another person’s character which is as natural as possible, it is difficult.
VG: If you could pick on any kind of work as you wish someday, what kind of movie [is it] that you wish to to try?
Minho: Action or Quentin Tarantino’s noir movies. I want to try films whom Men like, but not in my image right now, maybe a while after will be possible.
VG: Talking about image, do you pursue a ‘pleasant young man’ image? Like, when you go to piercing shops sometimes, and the staff asks you to pierce, but you immediately get agitated and cut them off saying “I’m not doing it!”
Minho: (Shocked) Woah! ……It was only once. I was actually curious. Members wear a lot of piercings. Well it’s not that I’m going to make a ‘pleasant young man’ image but I think putting something on [my] ears like earrings doesn’t suit me somehow. *For once, the stylist didn’t pierce her ear, so she asked me to look for her magnetic piercing, as expected, I felt weird as I saw it on the mirror. Furthermore, it got lost in less than one hour*. So the conclusion is, I’m not a ‘pleasant young man’ it can’t be helped anymore. Haha.

Sherlock makes YouTube's list of the most watched K-pop videos for the first half of 2012
On the 16th of July YouTube announced the list of the global top 10 most watched K-pop videos for the first half of 2012. SHINee's song Sherlock ranked 8th on the chart with over 9 million views and a hundred thousand likes.
The statistics show the many locations that the MV has been viewed in. Places like North America, Austrailia, Asia, and some parts of the Middle East and South America. The video is also most popular among woman from the ages of 13 to 34.
A YouTube official stated that, "K-pop has become a genre of music that is listened to globally. We hope that through YouTube, we will be able to spread the work of K-pop even more."

Taemin's Japanese Mobile Site Update
On July 13th Taemin updated SHINee's Japanese mobile site with the picture below and saying,

Minho attends the first script reading for 'To The Beautiful You'
On July 7th, the first script reading for the upcoming Korean remake of Japan's Hanazakari no Kimitachie has taken place at SBS Ilsan Production Center.
Sulli, Lee Hyun Woo, Ki Tae Young, Kim Ji Won, Lee Ah Hyun, and SHINee's very own Minho attended the reading among many others.
Minho paid very close attention to instructions and descriptions on his character he will be playing in the drama, Kang Tae Joon.
"Already the actors are coming together tightly and giving their all to make a flawless drama. We believe the combination of younger actors' passion and the experience of the adult actors will give birth to a great production." A production source shared.
The drama, To the Beautiful You, is based on the popular Japanese manga that tells about Koo Jae Hee (Sulli's character). A female student that joins an all-male physical education school disguised as a boy to try to meet the high jump gold medalist, Kang Tae Joon (Minho's character). The drama is expected to air next month on SBS.

Jonghyun suprises fans with his cooking skills
On the 5th of July Jonghyun shared a few photos on Twitter of his home made pizza. He wrote, "I made it! It was harder than I thought.. Even Pizza, I don't eat just any pizza! It's a deep dish right here! Inside this high level of dough is packed with lots of cheese! That is why if you slice it.. the cheese falls apart! Omg I made to much.. it tastes good but because so much hard work went into it, it doesn't seem like I'll make it again."
Fans responded to Jonghyun saying, "Whoever Jonghyun marries will be blessed for sure", "Jonghyun charms seems limitless.. this cooking idol!", and "I guess Jonghyun's powerful voice wasn't the only thing that was perfect.. his cooking skills are great as well."
Jonghyun shares a chat with his sister
Jonghyun shared a friendly conversation with his sister which after being posted On Twitter, July 5th, became a hot topic. The photo on Twitter had the caption "My harmonious family."
Fans where intrigued with the chat that was accompanied with some photographs that had been sent between Jonghyun and his sister. Jonghyun wrote in the photo,
"I make pizza. Come quickly! ^^ Get off of work right away!!!"
Jonghyun's sister replied saying,
"Wow!!! It looks so good. As soon as the recording finishes I will run like the Wind."

—— How do you feel now after the live performance (concert)?
Jonghyun: I feel that the concert (Japan Arena Tour) this time went really smoothly. In today’s concert, (everyone) celebrated our 1st Japan Anniversary Debut, we felt really grateful.
—— Onew cried during the second half of the concert, why?
Onew: Yes. I felt really sad to think that the live is already nearing the end. Lots of memories flashed back in my mind, felt the energy from everyone’s cheerings, really touched.
—— Recalling the activities during the past 1 year in Japan, which was the most memorable?
Taemin: Pork Cutlet rice? (this food phrase and “activities” pronunciation sounds almost the same) (Everyone laughed at Taemin’s cuteness)
Onew: The very moment when I felt everyone’s attention was concentrating on me.
Key: When our Japan CDs was releasing continuously, having the Japan Arena Tour, it feels like we are really moving forward in fast speed. We are always growing (& learning), we hope that in the future, we can get more love (& support) from more fans.

Jonghyun: We arrived in Japan on that date itself, and in the dorm, all members were talking about the topic “To Welcome our 1st Japan Anniverary”.

Jonghyun: Taemin said “dinner show”, jokingly during our concert performance tonight. It will be good if we can continue our concert performance for a long period of time, like he has mentioned.

SHINee's Children of the Sun' book is released in Apple iBook store
SHINee's 'Children of the Sun' travel book has been made into an e-book through Apple iBooks.
The paperback book of 'Children of the Sun', was published last December in Korea. The book showcased Taemin, Key, and Onew's thoughts about their travel to Barcelona. This included many photos of their experience there. The E-Book published on Apple's iBooks was launched in two version. There are Korean and English. The price of the E-Book is about 60% lower then the price of the paperback. The E-Book is currently being sold at $9.99. This makes it much easier for overseas fans to purchase the book.
The E-Book will include additional unpublished photos from their travels, book trailers, as well as many other things that where not shown in the paperback edition of 'Children of the Sun'.
Minho to take part in the MBC Idol Star Olympics
MBC will be holding the 'Idol Star Olympics' which hold a total of 24 K-pop groups. This is about 100 that are going to partake in the Idol Star Olympics. The show is set to record on the 10th and 15th of July. It will then be scheduled to air later that same month. There will be a total of 8 events. Some of the 8 are the 100m dash, long jump, high jump, hurdles, etc.
There will be amazing athletic idols in the track & field this year. These include SHINee's very own Minho. Other athletes in track and field include Bora, Hani, Fei, Jokwon, etc.
Participants in the Idol Star Olympics include Miss A, 2AM, 2PM's Chansung and Nichkhun, SHINee's Minho, f(x), CNBLUE, SISTAR, MBLAQ, Teen Top, After School, T-ara, Infinite, ZE:A, Davichi, Boyfriend, Nine Muses, Dal Shabet, A Pink, B1A4, Dalmation, Led APPLE, and NS Yoonji.
